Hey all,
I plan on doing an SR20DE swap into my Datsun 510. I just had a few questions on availability of parts and performance expectations.
I have been thinking on seemingly hard to get items, such as cap, rotor, wires, starters, alternators, and stuff like that. I saw on courtesy parts an SR starter is $600usd+. They also dont seem to carry any distributor parts at all on courtesyparts. I could swap to DET direct ignition, couldnt I? A CAS from a Toyota I hear?
Can Mossy get all the stuff like that? Basic tune up stuff for a RWD DE?
Also, in your expert opinions, what kind of RWHD could I expect from a 40K old DE with a Fidanza flywheel/exedy clutch, UR water pump pulley, JWT S4 cams, and a Fujitsubo RWD header? For increased flow can a Greddy S13 DET intake manifold work on an NA DE???
