Does anybody have the part number for the throttle cable on a '92 SE-R? I was sold part number 18201-62Y02 but given the sketch in my FSM I think this is for a GA16 as it doesn't have the rubber insulators around the adjusting nuts. This cable is too long and won't work on my car.
Thanks,
Steve

I just removed the new throttle cable I had installed. There is definitely a difference between the two cables. The new one, which I strongly believe is for a GA16, is actually shorter in total length than my original SR20 cable, but when comparing the distance from the adjusting nuts to the end of the cable that fits in the throttle drum the GA16 cable is actually about two inches longer.
Hopefully Courtesy has the correct cable in stock when I call them Monday morning.

Looks like that number is for the speedo cable (I recently replaced that, too, after my tranny swap).
I lined up the two throttle cables side-by-side. The total length of the one I strongly suspect is the GA16 cable is actually shorter than the SR20 cable. However, the distance between the adjusting nuts and the end of the GA16 cable when installed is a couple of inches longer which means there is too much slack and the cable won't work.

I called Courtesy on Monday and sure enough they sent the wrong cable. They quickly ordered one from CA and overnighted me the correct cable...
At least it *might* be the correct cable. The total length is the same as my original SR20 but it doesn't have the metal washers, metal gromet, and rubber insulators around the adjusting nuts that help hold it in place on the bracket that is mounted to the intake manifold. Also, the distance from where it sits in the throttle drum to the adjusting nuts is about one inch longer than my original SR20 cable. Part number of this cable is 18201-78J10. I hope I didn't get sent the wrong cable again. :(

Called Courtesy.... wrong cable.
18201-62Y02 for GA16 (not sure what years)
18201-78J10 for SR20 '94+
I believe the correct part number for a 91-93 SE-R (high port) is 18201-62J02.
