Selling my built SR20DE. This motor has never been assembled, although everything is there.
Includes:
Nissan 87mm pistons from a 300ZX
Nissan rings
Stock SR20DE rods
All main and rod bearings
Oil pump + timing chain cover
Oil pans
The pistons and rods were balanced to within 1/2 a gram. Small end of rods machined to accept 300ZX pistons. Before balancing, I had the valve releifs in the pistons cut 1.5mm deeper for extra clearance to allow for extremely tight lobe centres. Swain Gold Coat on the piston domes, Swain anti-friction coating on the piston skirts, Swain anti-friction coating on all bearing surfaces. I had the crankshaft knife edged and lightened slightly, and balanced, checked for straightness and micropolished. I also had the oil galley plugs in the crank removed, and screw-in plugs installed to allow cleaning of the oil passages in the crank. Boring and honing of the block was done with a Torque plate. Also includes ARP mainstuds, headstuds and rod bolts. After the rod bolts were pressed in, I had to rods resized.
I have probably $2500+ into this bottom end. Best offer. No lowballers please. Would prefer local sale since shipping would be a huge pain. Willing to deliver or meet halfway within a resonable distance. If I don't get a reasonable offer, I'll put this together an put it in my brother's racecar, although I would prefer to sell it.
