I am looking to buy some new wheels for my NX2000 (Nissan 100nx as it is known in Great Britain) and I need to know what measurments I can get away with without having to worry obout the wheel arches.
I am thinking of some 16" rims that are 6" wide. What i am not sure about is the other types of measurments.
Any thoughts?????

Cheers

I have now got some Fox 6 spoke wheels.
They are 16" x 6.5. They are covered with 205 x 45 rubber. They look Top!!!!
I would post a picture, but my camera isnt compatable with Windows XP yet.

Thanks for all of your advice

I'd go with 15" my self, do you guys have 200sx SE-R's over there? Those rims look nice...plus they clear the NX brakes...16's are getting kinda big, sidewalls are getting shorter, and wheel hop is becoming more of a reality....hope this helps!

you can fit 14"-17" the offset of the usdm is 42, and the lug pattern is 4/100, and I wouldn't go much wider than 7.5"

One thing you want to watch out for if you're running the stock struts and going with a greater overall diameter is tire clearance to the bottom spring perch - particularly at the back. When I bought a set of snow tires for winter TSD rallying, I measured this at the front - but not at the back - whoops. I wanted greater overall diameter in order to add a little bit of ground clearance. (plus it looks neat) The 185/70-14s I bought fit fine at the front - I had to do a wee bit of grinding at the back...

There are also issues with caliper clearance at the front, but I would imagine this isn't a big deal if you're going with a larger radius rim.

In the Summer, Spring and Fall I use 16 x 7" Racing Hart CP-035 wheels with 205/45-16 or 205/40-16s. Offset is 35mm. In winter, like now, I use the stock 14" wheels with 195/60-14 Bridgestone Potenza RE950. I have no clearance issues with the 16s.

i have 15's on my nx and are really happy i get enough grip, running 195/50's. plus the fact the tread for 15's is a shit load cheaper over here!!

My wheels and tires are finally here, rota subzeroes and bridgestone SO-3's 195/50/15. Not on the car (it's away for the winter) but I bet i'll notice a big difference over the stock ones. Oh and I think the offset is 38m, not 42 mm as previously mentioned
