It could be an older one, where they manually reprogrammed the RAM and switches, etc.

The mere fact that you assume all JWT's have daughterboards makes it obvious that you dont search yourself. But again, I'm not saying thats a JWT board either.

If you ask Mike Kojima about the olden-days whether or not JWT did daughterboards, he'll slap you. Hell, I know for a fact JCCT has an old school where they manually reprogrammed the ROM modules (yes, i know what ROM is, and i know what to do to "reprogram" it, I'm a designer for Intel) instead of using daughterboards.

i've only talked to spencer a couple times here on the forum...i've never met him before!

but i've showed this ecu to someone who used to send ECU's back and forth from JWT and they confirmed that its not an ECU....yes JWT can maybe flash them but they still have to put in that extra daughterboard....

No, they do not HAVE to have a daughterboard.

To make it easier then... just assume if theres no daughterboard, NOR a sticker, it hasn't been touched at all.

Besides, I know of only 3 or 4 people with the old, old JWT modified ECU's without daughterboards.

I'm watching this thread, too, while trading PMs with Bluebird_NX.

In short, I've suggested he either prove the ECU is a JWT unit, or refund your money back. Simple as that.

from what i've heard, this guy did send you the jwt.i talked to some of his friends and they said that he did send the jwt. WHO THE HELL IS TELLING THE TRUTH?? i give up.

I'm wanting to know if there were any labels or ANYTHING on the ECU to even MENTION jwt. If theres a label, call up JWT and confirm whether or not it was an old-school without a daughterboard.

Otherwise, no label, means no jwt. Thats the bottom line at least.

Well, the daughterboard he showed us IS NOT a JWT.

It is very possible that bluebird NX sent him a stock ECU w/ an old JWT cover on it that had some worn off stickers. So to his friends.. they saw the stickers and in their eyes it was a JWT.

It is also possible that Bluebird NX never inspected the inside of the ECU and in his eyes, this must have been a JWT.. doesnt say much for his knowledge of ecu's but perhaps he scored it on a trade and was looking to sell it to make some $ and never took the time to inspect its validity.

It is also possible that 92g20 red isnt telling us the whole story and is not showing us the ecu Bluebird NX sent him. HOWEVER, i would think if that was the case, BluebirdNX would be all over the place callin this guys BS.

Bluebird NX has yet to post anything to refute any of the accusations. Which from what i have seen through the years is common practice taken by scammers.

Usually a good seller, even if he made a mistake will own up and settle the problem somehow and post on here to clear his name. BluebirdNX has not posted once, but is still active on the forum, if he is exchanging PMs w/ GP, apparently.

#1 So either we are missing info to dictate the true story.

#2 or BluebirdNX is a Scammer

#3 or 92g20red is not telling the truth.

Those are the ONLY 3 options!!!!

once we find out, if it was :
#1 both parties CLEARLY need to communicate better and clear this up w/ out involving other people or the forum!!!

#2 BluebirdNX needs to give a refund and take his falsely advertised product back, or face the music!!

#3 92g20red is going to look like an ass and probably not be wanted on this forum.

I am not pointing fingers at anybody! I am just listing what it could be and how it needs to end up. Plain and simple. there should be no other factors to sway those consequensces to those events. If there are, then again, the stories have been convoluted and wasted alot of forum members time....

I hope you guys are able to resolve this liek grown men and nobody should be a coward on their end!!

honestly i am not lying about anything....all i want if for my car to run good....that pic of the ECU that i showed you is what he sent me! I wouldn't be on here postin about it if the ECU was really JWT casue i would be out happily boosting!! I'm not a scammer and i never will be!
