ASAPCan anyone who able to tell me.....
I've got a '93 NX 1600 digital dash, and I'm going to put into my '91 NX 2000 (Analog dash). I did most of the wiring conv. already, but the speed sensor from the '93 NX will this fit into my '91 NX 2000? If not which speed sensor (part #) will available?
Thanks

got my cluster in last weekend. Everything works like a charm including the backlighting.
I also had the green/black wire speed sensor (2.0 manual trans from what the seller told me)...it was also almost 3/4" shorter than the OEM B13 Se-R cable sensor. Didnt know if it would work, so I put it in and gave it a shot, and low and behold it worked. Green wire goes to green out on the cluster, and black goes to red.
The speed is dead on (confirmed it with my Garmin), and I hover around 3000 rpm while crusing at 65ish mph....I forgot to take a mental image of what the stock cluster did at that speed, but with the sounds my car makes at higher rpm (I get a bad resonance around 6800), the tach seems to be dead on as well.
I will be pulling it back apart next weekend to clean up my wiring job and solder everything....

Didnt know where to post this so Im just going to ask this on here. I already sent a PM to the OP. Anyways, I just bought a 93/94 digital cluster from a local & I want to know if I can I use a 93/94 digital cluster in a 1992 SER or can I only use a 92 digital cluster in a 91/92 SER? I know thier are two different "how to's", but is there one for what I'm trying to do? If there isnt, can I just splice the wires together & try to make it work or no?

I have searched this forum and others for a straight answer. I have read others having the half speed problem but no direct cause that made sense or fix just speed sensor swapping. Nissan lists 4 different part #s for the "digital control unit. The speed sensor pinions are the same between auto and manual both with 36 teeth b14s have 35 teeth as well as p10. aside from teeth the sensors ARE NOT interchangable as the automatic sensor is centered in the bore and the manual is offset to the pass side. The gauge cluster came from a 91 nx with a stick and i have a 92 Se-R but it was clearly not the origional as it had markings from another salvage yard. So to get to the point what do i need to complete this as the speedo is the only thing stopping me by reading half the speed i am actually doing.

there are several yellow wires that will be left over only one controls the power to the three diferent connectors, i have a japan made nx2000 and the digicluster from an nx1600 it looks bad ass,its tempting me to rev it to 8 grand idk maybe i will:-)

My friend and I got one digital gauge from a manual 1600nx, and one from an automatic 1600nx. The manual nx gauge DID work for his 1.6 200sx and my 2.0 200sx. the automatic nx guage DID NOT work and read half the speed for both of our cars. So, engine size doesn't appear to be the problem. Just thought I would sum it up for anyone who wishes to know in the future.
