I recently have been getting a code 12.(MAF problem) So i pulled out my wiring tried getting better ground, didnt help. SO i just put it back the way it was and I reset my ecu. It worked great after that. car started up and ran like a stripped ass ape. 3 hours later Im on my way to beer-thirty and the damn thing starts up but acts like the MAF is unplugged. sluggish rev running really ubber rich.
Why does resetting the ECU only allow the car to run well until i turn it off for a few hours??

Negative! I guess I could try that huh??
But why does it work when i reset my ecu?? its like it only works if I reset first. Will a crappy maf still work and once car is turned off it automatically runs in limp/shit mode so u dont damage it??

Bad connection at the ecu possibly.

I'd swap out the mass air flow meter and see if that fixes it.

Well. I checked my volts after I reset ecu. And they were where they should be. they were jumpin all over before. once i reset ecu I checked. Im getting 13V of power. and the signal is right at 1.15 under load. I havent driven it yet. but if it runs good then 2 hours later runs like ass. Then I will know something is wrong with maf
