I was reading up on a hotshot turbo kit.. and it comes with a Turbonetics T3 Turbo.. i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this turbo... let me know any good or bad news..please.. thanks

I have heard that their turbos are good, however you are paying an arm and a leg. There are other turbo companies out there that sell the same T3 at a much reduced price. Are you looking to get a turbo soon, because I am also. I want to get the HotShot setup but have a different turbo in it. Also the turbonetics turbo in the HotShot setup does not come with a water jacket. That is just a turbonetics thing, not HotShot. Anyway if you want drop me a PM.

Well, I've been doing a ton of research here and I think I'll be going with the det. My original sr20de has 125,000 miles on it and, although it still runs strong, I think it would be safer and smarter to swap it with a $2200 det that only has 30-40k on it.

Cheaper, easier, and more reliable...
