were did you get the Cometic Metal Headgasket? and how much?

My engine guy here (1000+ hp drag cars, racing boats, etc)
says I shouldn't polish anything - as it closes all the pores in the metal and you trap heat - is that not a big of concern on a smaller motor like the SR20?

Yes, these are 1.2mm headgaskets. They actually make several different sizes. The gasket I got is their High Performance gasket and is 87mm x .043". This gasket runs about $119.00.
