In my haste to do my AD22VF brake job, I forgot to secure a brake line on the front passenger side.. The metal bracket attached to the brake line swung down and was able to make contact with the outer CV boot on the axle and tore it in half. Now I have axle grease all over my strut, wheel, and wheel well.. :(

It was a hurried day too. I did brakes on my car(front calipers/rotors/pads, rear rotors/pads), swapped out a bad cat converter on a friends corolla, swapped out a couple of struts/springs and camber rods on another friend's RSX-S. And I started at noon, and had to rush to dinner with the girlfriend...

So lesson of the day: Don't forget to check and double check your work before calling it a day!

Patchy the local mechanic? :D

Whats the word on the jig-time for getting trunk cardboard redone? :D

(How are the D2's btw? I'm wondering if its true they blow out after a year)

Damn! :eek2:

Well, it coulda been worse. At least you didn't leave the caliper bolts or wheel nuts loose. ;)

It wasn't too bad. The RSX owner helped with the work.

The d2's are making noise that I can't solve. but I think they're ok. The ride feels the same as the day I installed them. I'll give you a ride when we meet up to do the trunk thing! Maybe in about 2 weeks?

Yeah it could have been worse... hey maybe while I have the wheel and rightside hub and the axle out of the way, maybe the Unorthodox pulley install will be easier! :)
