You could just put a plenum on it with a common intake tube for the MAF. This wouldn't lose any real power and would allow you to have a cold air setup. What is misleading about a lot of these ITB setups is they did dyno 7whp above a single TB setup, but that was on the dyno with the hood up.

ITB is too hard to tune right. and its overrated.
I didnt gain that much with a ITB setup. around 3-5 whp only.
the downsides are having high and unstable idle, lost torque at low rev and mid rev, eat alot of fuel..etc. I dont think it worth the investment.

ITB is hardest thing to tune
but if you can tune it ITB can yield awesome result

it even harder to tune ITB with MAF feature like RNN14 and RB26DETT

ITBs work just fine. Why strap on armor if you are not goint to a fight. Of course it's heavy and does not help you.
Get up into the rev ranges for it, have a good balanced system of headders and port capability and get the injection right and it's worth every penny.

This argument is like saying a down draft 32/36 Webber on a 2.3 pinto works better than two 45mm Side Drafts. Sure it does, if you are going to the grocery.

BigToe, you 're wasting your breath. Most of these guys wouldn't know what a Pinto is never mind a 32/36 Weber.

Twin 40mm IDF's worked well on my 1.6L Fiesta. I think 52 mm ITB's with matched headers would work great on the SR20. Off idle toque would be great and with the short runners, you'd make great power at 7-8K . IMHO

What are the pro's and con's when comparing a big single say 80/85mm to the quad setup?
