I started my bb swap last weekend. I drilled and tapped my block. Installed my oil feed line, manifold, etc. My first problem was with the turbo hitting my dog bone mount. So, I clocked the housing to face up.<-fixed Now, my second problem is that the outlet pipe that I got with the turbo is going to face into my fans. Is there anything I can adapt to use for the outlet? I don't have a ic yet, so, I'm just going straight to the intake. The third problem is I'm in need of both inlet and outlet piping to and from the turbo. I'm having problems finding rubber couplers locally to make my piping. But I can't wait too long because my boss is getting on my case for leaving my car at work. I'm trying the part stores to find big enough couplers, but they tell me I need specific make and model to get the piping. Can anyone help me on this?
THanks,
Rocky

truthfully I would put the stock parts back on until you get everything you need.
First what size intercooler pipping are you using? home depo/lowes for couplers
Second do you have any pics of the intake pipe your talking about thats facing the fans.I know when I put my turbo in i had to remove a fan.
get a intercooler so your not wasting money on piping and couplers

I'm not sure about ct. but usually local speed shops will carry a hand full of couplers, and t-bolt clamps. (not the cheapest)

napa carrys t bolt for 2.50 from what i heard havent double checked yet. I would quickly fork over the cash and get a fmic you can get them pretty cheap on ebay a no name is fine. If you clock the turbo so the comprosser outlet pipe faces down your going to need to
A) modify the cross member because a factory outlet pip will hit it
B) call jgy and order a hotshot compressor outlet pipe for AVENIR setup, not the bluebird setup.
C) buy my stock avenir compressour outlet pipe, clock it so it faces up and run the i/c piping like many members do, across to the pass side down into i/c. PM me if you want the outlet pipe its in good condition.

leave the turbo facing up.. i believe u have to modify the wastegate bracket also. doing this.. will set the boost to 9psi i believe. get the blue bird turbo outlet pipe and it will face up and towards the left side of the car. then u can work with ur intercooler piping from there. thats what i'd do in ur situation

Bluebird stuff is all 2 and 3/8 inches. Get 2.5 inch couplers and pipe, it will be much easier. Try and rotate your comp outlet pipe (the one with the triangle base) and see if it'll point somewhere else. If not, get a BB unit or GTi-R and modify (cut) to point where you want it to.

Your throttle body is 2.75 inches. You'll need a reducer for that.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm buying a ic very soon. The turbo is a u13. The up pipe from the compressor is this:

Since I clocked the housing this peice faces towards the radiator fan. Here is a pic of the turbo:

Once I get my ic I'll will be making the inlet pipe, but I need a up pipe to first come out of the compressor housing.
