I just purchased the dual 12" fal 220's. I am currently running a stock radiator, and was looking to make more room than the stock fans.

When I searched on here for which fans to get I noticed there where only a few threads about fans. I did read that people where using these fal 220's.

I just wanted to let people know that on a stock radiator there is modification that needs to be done to the shroud in order to get these to fit.

The fans are too tall to fit between the upper and lower radiator hose. In order to get them to fit I used a 7" zip cut and cut the bottom of the shroud off, and then notched the upper right side for the upper rad. hose. Then I drilled new holes in the shroud to use the radiator ties it came with.

Even on the stock radiator, in hawaii traffic and heat they work very well, I just wanted people to know that these are not a direct fit. :biggthump
