Well I was doing a bit of spirited driving today and I got on it in 2nd, and my shifter actually shifted towards the back of the car, then I shifted into 3rd and now 3rd was where neutral should be. Basiclly every gear has shifted towards the back of the car. I can't go into 2nd, 4th, or reverse now because of this either.

Did my linkage just come loose from the tranny? Or am I pretty screwed?

I had this happen in my NX, it was the tranny. It could be your motor mount too,but it was my tranny, soo full of metal shavings and such that the bottom gears didnt work. I finnally got them to work, but it was when I slammed it into 1st, then into 2nd real hard. I was putting a 200sx SE-R tranny in soon anyway, so I figured, what the hell. :)

your rear motor mount is shot. Look to see if your motor is leaning towards the firewall.

Rear motor mount shot as in need a new one? Or just the bolts? Some kids who were behind me said my car shot something out. It gouged the hell out of his Carbon Fiber hood hah.

They are awsome, I wish they were around when I got my ES mounts.

We are selling a set of all 4 mounts for 73 bucks ;)

You can get just the rear prothane if you want, it is the most important one. Contact AD Fabrication if you are interested.

Mine just did the same thing today. :( I just got it out of the shop for an idle problem and it's running great. Next thing I know, I get home and my shifter is stuck back. I could barely even get it into any gear.

So it's the rear motor mount?

Okay I just jacked the car up and it's missing the two tranny mount bolts. :eek2: Does anyone know what size bolt that is? I need the size and length please!!!
