Hello All,

I have heared quite a lot of people saying that you would preffer to put your money into the performanc / engine rather that the bodywork. This is just a little explanation as to why Europeans differ to Americans.

In some countriesin Europe, mainly France. People are not allowed by law to modify the engines or performance in any way unless you get a special permit.
That is why the looks of the car is concentrated on more in Europe.
Personally I live in England. We can do what we want but you get screwed by the insurance companies if make any changes. Also if you do the engine, it drinks more fuel. Fuel is currently £0.80 per litre. Thats about £3.66 (us$4.99) per gallon.
So as you can see, it can pay to be seen with style, than be glanced at speed.

in the summer, I saw gas close to $.90 in Subury (northern Ontario) but right now it's in the mid 50's, cheaper in Hamilton, my brother lives there and he says he's seen it in the 40's.

Get an aftermarket intake like a pop or K&N cone. Your car will be faster AND your gas mileage will get better. I gained close to 100km extra on a full tank of gas after I replaced my airbox.
