I am considering getting a DET in my 96 200sx se-r which has the DE in it now. I have been talking to quite a few people about the DET swap, but the thing that i have a question on is how much tweaking will have to be done to the car once the DET is in. I heard that i might have a lot of problems to get the car running right. I will get the jwt ecu if i get the DET, so the stock ecu won;t be a prob...I guess that i just need some help........

also is there any good or credible place in Cleveland/Akron OH area that will do the swap???

I have a DET swap in my 96' SE-R....As far as tweaking goes once the engine is in, get all the basics done such as full exhaust, plumbing for front mount (if you get front or just keep the top mount), and then like you said the JWT ECU programmed for the injectors and etc. After i got all of these, the car still would act gay, for example, the car would always hesitate or stutter before hitting boost, at half throttle it was crap, but once boosting it was great. So if anybody could chime in here with what plugs and other ignition components to run on a DET it would be helpful for both of us i'm sure.
