I thought blue bird det's only came in red top, not black top. On the site, srswap.com, they also say it's from a 98 bluebird. On freshalloy's site, they say the last year for a bluebird det was in 96. So if this is true, I could get a bluebird det from as new as 98? Is this det even the same as the red top? Anyone???

the black top came in a different vehicle. I can't remember the name of it...Andreas told me what it was the other day.

That is a newer DE-T since the turbo outlet is pointing down. I think that is a true Bluebird(Altima)motor. The ones that everyone calls Bluebirds (red vc, top mount ic) are actually out of the japanese equivalent to a US Stanza which died long ago over here. Or at least that's what I remember Andreas said to me. We need to get all this info together sorted out and post it sticky in this forum.

Does anyone have a definate answer for this engine? There has got to be someone that has an answer. Cmon guys!
