I have a few questions about map trace. I did a search and didn't come up with the concise answers I was looking for.

If I get this right, map trace allows you to see what part of the fuel and ignition maps that the ecu is looking at at a given time. Is this real time or datalogged?

Either way, what do I need to use this? Software, hardware? I have seen something about daughterbaords with this capability, but my ecu needs no daughterboard.
