I concur. We're in the asbestos lined, flame-proof, Newb Section. Cut him some slack. Outside this section, I'll help you bar-b-que his ass, in here relax a hair...cool? :)
OMG how damn funny. In the very first thread posted by Classic SE-R, this one:
http://sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=127319&highlight=mobil
In the second post, I flame the guy for not searching  ........
Lazieg, we do take our SEARCHing pretty serious around here. And hey, in that second post I drop some pretty good search tips and show you a little bit about how to search.
Good luck.
Welcome to the forum! :biggthump
Classic SE-R 09-19-2005, 01:31 AM i thought i was being nice. i just saw about 10 threads about oil in the last week so im a little bored of seeing them. i nicely told him the info is simple to find, answered his question with my opinion, and then gave multiple links so he can see everyone elses opinions. the links also contain the recommended weight oil to use, and why.
80k is NOT high mileage at all. use mobile 1 10w-30, it will clean up your motor well, change it every 3k miles. you can get it at wal-mart in 5qt jugs for 19.99

Shawn B 09-19-2005, 12:33 PM get them out of my system so i can move on...either that or just shadow this board from now on
No need to shadow or lurk. Like I said, we take that search button pretty serious round these parts. :)
Hey, you got your question answered really well. Classic SE-R did an excellent and impressive job of SEARCHing out oil threads. No major flame fest ensued.
Welcome once again! :biggthump
oil weight really depends on your climate. a good all purpose oil is 10w30. i know some turbo guys in houston that run 20w50 because the oil is being heated moreso.
Classic SE-R 09-19-2005, 04:09 PM hey i wasnt tryin to be mean. just before you have a question search a little to see if you can find an answer. if you need more info or need something else then start another thread. welcome to the forum.
Huberus 09-24-2005, 06:59 PM i was just messin with ya joe.
