se-riously boosted 02-14-2002, 11:20 AM I've heard good and bad things about the Red Line Oil. Is it true that JAY spun a bearing after using this oil?. Anyone using it?. I was just given 2 cases of oil by my local rep so I can run on my turbo car. Any experiences anyone?? It sucks... it makes shifting smoother for a good 250 miles and after that hardens up and becomes really stiff... I wouldn't use or reccommend this stuff in a motor, muchless a turbo motor... I stick with Mobil 1 Synthetics... You'd be surprised how many motors I've seen taken apart that have used Mobil 1 and they're very clean... I use Mobil 1 5W-30 in the motor though. I have used both and haven't seen any differences. I'd go with Mobil 1 just because is way cheaper.
