: WTB: Timing Light and AIV breather filter black_nx 10-01-2005, 04:28 PM What the title says^^^^. I want to adjust my timing and I just installed a pop charger on my car, so I need a breather filter for the AIV. I suppose I could go out and buy them from an auto store, but thought I might check here first for any deals :). Will 10-01-2005, 04:41 PM please DO NOT put a breather filter on your crank vent, it will cause a huge vac leak and shitty idle. Harbor freight has the best deals on timing lights, I got mine for like 12 bucks. INX2C 10-01-2005, 08:09 PM autozone has both. for cheap. open AIV - as opposed to crank breather - will not cause crappy idle. Look where it is on a stock system.
