nissansr20nx 10-02-2005, 11:28 PM Ok tell me about this NOS kit!! I am honestly interested!! I havent heard about that ECU before!!
STRATTON 10-02-2005, 11:49 PM everything u need to know ive already said. as far as im concerned this is a fool proof way to spray. direct port is the way to go coupled with the jwt ecu its a extremely safe and effective way to put down serious numbers. the best part to me is the ecu can switch bewteen two tunes. u dont loose any power when running around n/a and can spray with a single flik of a switch.

STRATTON 10-02-2005, 11:51 PM i guess i can post up some a pic. its hard to see but the nitrious lines actually run into the intake runners. 90 degree nos fan spray nozzles distribute the nitrious to each cyclinder. 25 shot jet per cyclinder fitting/cyclinder.

nissansr20nx 10-03-2005, 12:27 AM Damn that is awesome. I have never heard of that ECU set-up. How much did that cost you from JWT??
chriscar 10-03-2005, 08:56 AM This is an awesome setup. Because JWT controls everything INSIDE the ECU they are able to control the exact conditions under which the nitrous will flow as well as modifying the ignition timing where necessary. Also, you don't need to run a seperate fuel line and solenoid because the ECU adds the additional fuel directly throught the injectors.
Here's a description from their website.
This SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A CONVENTIONAL solenoid operated nitrous oxide spray nozzle. However the supplemental fuel is not added by a separate fuel spray nozzle, as with most conventional N2O systems.
Older conventional systems sprayed supplemental fuel through the intake manifold along with the nitrous oxide, requiring the addition of a extra solenoid, line and fuel source. Most fuel injected engines have intake runners that are designed to run "dry" and will not distribute fuel droplets evenly, causing some cylinders to run dangerously lean during nitrous usage. Our system uses the original fuel injectors to deliver the additional fuel needed to run the system. A custom module inside the E.C.U. (engine control unit) has been installed that switches between two programs. Program #1 is our normal performance program, used when nitrous is not flowing. Program #2 is used for controlling the engine when the nitrous system is operating. This program is calibrated to deliver additional fuel and control ignition spark timing. Program #2 is activated only when the nitrous arming switch is on and the throttle has been fully depressed.
STRATTON 10-03-2005, 01:54 PM thanks for that info chris.

bmore92sr20 10-03-2005, 02:20 PM I just called jwt and they said it would be $550 for the same ecu your selling. Why is yours $750?I'm interested because they said it would take 6 weeks.
chriscar 10-03-2005, 02:22 PM $550 is for a regular JWT ECU. The nitrous daughter board adds another $350 if I recall correctly.

Peanuthead 10-03-2005, 02:28 PM This perhaps may be an unnecessary question, but is it an OBD I or OBD II ECU?
chriscar 10-03-2005, 02:29 PM I just found this, it's an old post, so the prices may have changed bit, but not much.
http://www.sr20forum.com/showpost.php?p=156867&postcount=8
List
JWT ECU Upgrade: $595
JWT NOS Upgrade: $450
Package Price: $1,045
Package Price Discounted: $895 shipped.
ETA: 2 weeks
This package price would work for either OBD1 or OBD2 ECUs
You would need to specify what setup you are running and if you want a 50 shot or 100 shot of Nitrous.
And yes, there is a S3 and S4 Program avail. for both AT/MT and OBD1/OBD2.

AaroNX 10-03-2005, 02:31 PM You have to get the bigger injectors as well don't you? If I had the money this would def be the way I went. It's the safest system available to us.
