i've been wanting to get one of these... when i did a manual swap i guess there is some sort of clip where the shift boot would hook into that my car didn't come with (the parts didn't come with) .... there is some sort of clip i need right? to attach the boot to the middle console...

Yes, the manual center console is different and has mounting points for the shift boot. Unless you want to replace the center console, you'd have to consider glueing the underside of the shift boot to it, since you don't have those mounting points...

Just got mine in the mail...be careful the colors on the web and what you get are NOT necessarily the same, I ordered violety blue with black and they forgot the blue ie its a completely a purple colour. So now i need to dye it or chuck and waste $70. Instructions are okay but I still screwed part of the install up and ended with a small visible hole in the emergency lever boot :(.

Be careful what colors you pick and you should be fine though damn I realy wish i had gotten the red with black or something.
