yeah, they'll fit. i have a nx with 17's, kyb agx struts and intrax lowering springs.

it's close thought, i have about an 1/8" clearance in the rear. the front is fine.

anything larger than 17"s and you would have tp go with coilovers.

I use 17x7 w/40mm offset (205/40/17 tires), but I HAD to use a 5mm spacer in back...they rub the strut. And even with the spacer, I get a little rubbing with hard cornering. I also have the Eibach Prokit springs, if that makes a difference.

i have the same as aknapp.

no spacer though, on the kyb's i ground just a little of the metal away to make more clearance, then painted red again and you don't even notice.

last time i rotated, i noticed a little rubbing must be happening in hard corners as mentioned, just cause the paint wasn't shinny in those spots.

hope that helps.

If I see another compact car with 17" rims I'm gonna puke.

I sure wouldn't bet anyone money at the dragstrip wearing those
things.

#1) 17" rims are HEAVY!!
#2) There is no tire size at all in 17" that will give you the correct gearing.

Weight + screwed up gearing = slowass acceleration

Tell you the truth i only have 17's on the back and the stock ones up front so when i go to the track i'll be cool. But really what's wrong with having 17's anyway:confused: .

I at this point dont care about speed etc... that later just half to get new tires so midas well get 17s. I plan to twin turbo it so I think the 17's will work nicely ;)

You plan to twin-turbocharge your NX2000, is that what I'm reading?

But really what's wrong with having 17's anyway
Personally, I never perform any modification unless is has some increase in performance on the car. 17" wheels hurt performance.

But if you're all about them, go ahead. At least the tires are expensive as hell.

Yeah you are right about this and to each his own but you know 17's are chick magnets. And i don't about how it is where your at but here in new york big rims aren't that beneficial cause of all these potholes but Funk Master Flex makes fun of sport compact cars that aren't atleast 17's:D and besides nX's look better with 17's then our B13 counterparts:D :p ;) LOL

Really. 17s get the chicks, huh?

No one gives a shit in NC. Not exactly the rice capital of the US.

17 and 18's for our sport compact cars are like 22's and 23 for SUV's

I'm not sure about this but here in Chicago the ladies just dig a nice ride. They don't even know what size wheels your running as long as they fit and they shine along with your car.

I never perform any modification unless it has some increase in performance on the car

Now why did you guys go 40mm off set is it because that is the closest size they had that would work? If so what would you make it if you had a choice? or 35mm/45mm etc... or will that hit the fenders even rolled etc...etc... got it narrowed down to 17x7 but offset I need alittle more clarity from those of you running 17" wheels ;)
