OK guys, spring time is coming, and i've decieded to get serious about making some mods. First intake, exhaust, then headers. Thats the order I want to do it in, becuase i know the headers are the most expensive.. anyways.. i know nothing about gains and which company produce the best results. I dotn want the best of everything just something in between.. thanks

In order:

Intake= HotShot, Place Racing or AEM.
The Place Racing and the HotShot CAI are really close in HP gains. The AEM is supposed to make more HP, but I'm not sure how much more. But from what I'm told, it is 50 state legal.

Exhaust= Cat back, with a straight through muffler (Ultraflow, Thermal Research, etc), 2.25" (Max) exhaust pipe diameter, with mandrel bends and a glasspack (perforated core, NO louvers!) muffler as a pre-silencer. That should give you nice gains on top with no loss on the bottom, while not being too loud.
And please, NO RICEBOY EXHAUST TIPS!!!

Header=HotShot Gen4 header.
Don't even think about $tillen( I learned the hard way), or OBX, or Pacesetter, or any other cheap Riceboy crap!

Also, make sure that you're using only OEM plugs, wires, and Cap and Rotor.
Also, advance you ignition timing to 19*. And make sure you're using at least 91 Octane gas (or better). That should gain you 4hp in the middle of your power band, without losing anything anywhere else.

Have fun!
