Any reason you swapped it in from the top? I thought through the bottom was the preferred method.

Unless we were to jack the car up another 2 feet, the best way is from the top, real easy, especially with connecting sensors and hoses.

It runs like a top, so much more more midrange and top end pull than the turboed DE. Its so nice, I cannot wait to up the boost!! So smooth, no more studdering when it gets into positive boost. No leaks at all. It was a real professional installation. Anyone near Jason Young, should have this guy do it, hes funny as hell too. :D

HAHA! Yeah, 2 weeks ago, driving home form work, the oil feed line blew off and oil came out. I immediately shut her off but it still spun a bearing and I had a rod knock from 2500-4000 rpm and no power at all. Anyway, its mucho better now! DET is nice! :D

Damn thats nice looking. Wish you would have said something John, you were all of maybe an hour from my house if you went to JGY's house. I would have came up and helped/watched like I normaly do. Cool that its in, sucks that it happened ***. JGY has quality stuff and work it looks like, his online personality maybe questionalbe at times but thats ok

Yeah, well he may be a lttle squirelly at times, but he had my engine out and on the floor in 3 hours while watching the olympics and drinking beer.

On top of that I got to see him do a burnout with his 20's, have you ever seen 20 inch wheels do a burnout? Very interesting. He even threatened this mexican guy at a mexican restaraunt that licked his salt from the margarita glass before serving it to him. He had this poor 5 foot 8 guy in a head-lock while holding a sharp tortilla chip to his throat. He made this guy say, "You're not a fucking gringo" over and over. LOL, not really.

He did however 4 wheel drift my silly ass as I was talking on the cell phone and forogt to put on my seatbelt, but Jason asked me if it was on and I stupidly said yes, I'm a lying bastard!!! :mad: That was frigin CRAZY! Good Times I tell ya.

John, I'm more jealous now than I was before... Now I want to do the 240SX turbo project even more! NEED MONEY! WILL WORK FOR BOOST! I wish I was willing to turbo my classic, but it's my only car - can't afford the downtime or the additional maintenance issues (or a second car), small though they might be. I do see a VE swap in the future, though.
