This conversation fizzled before and I never got the answers I needed. I have a T25 in need of a rebuild. I thought I could just get the rebuild kit, mark the nuts, wheels, and shaft so I could reassemble it properly and so it would be balanced, but Rob Cadle said that method still would not leave it balanced. So I'm curious what I should do with this turbo to get my money out of it. Should I rebuild it and just send it somewhere to get balanced after I rebuild it? Would that be cost effective? Should I just send it off to be rebuilt? Would dissassembling it ahead of time save me any money? I paid $85 for this thing- what would you do? I sort of want to use it, sort of want to sell it to. ???
