Hey guys, a while back I purchased a '98 Sentra Grille for my '96 200... Well, it's a long story but now I no longer have that grille, and I've been searching for one ever since... Do you guys know of any place that sells them?

Thanks.

The '98 Sentra has the mesh grill. The '98 200sx as the other grill you are thinking of.

I don't know what that is on my car, it all ghetto with broken clips. But its not the original mesh stuff I can tell you that. And yeah the 98 sentra grill is the one I want. that wont fit without changing the headlights will it?

It will fit on your car without changing the headlights.I think you are thinking of the 98 200sx grill and lights..they are different that the sentra.

Just wondering, what methods of painting these grills do you use, professional or do it yourself?

I would get a can of colormatched paint and do it myself.if you cannot paint, I would leave it to someone who can, or a body shop...:D

Hey guys... This weekend I just installed my H4 Nis-Knacks Headlights and 98 Sentra Grill... I had to zip-tie the grill to the headlight brackets that are on both sides top and bottom! The center clip is on just fine.

I got the grill off ebay for $25 plus shipping. I got the grill painted for $30 by a Econo Paint shop...

I took some pics and will post them after I get them developed (yes, I am still in the darkages using film and a flash!).

Let me just say that my front end looks f_ckin' good now! Now, I just have to repaint my front bumper...

ATTENTION: A 98 Sentra grill will not work on a 95-97 SE-R !!!

Now that I have your attention. I wanted the mesh grill myself for my 96 SE-R so I went to the dealership and bought one, had it professionally painted, and then attempted to install it.

Guess what? Didn't work. The brackets that hold the grill are about 1 inch further outward on the grill then they are on the supports. Also the center bracket is about 1 inch to the right. Finally, the clips that hold the grill are all horizontal on the 95-97 and are all vertical on the Sentra mesh grill.

Leave it up to Nissan to do something like this. Unless you cut and buy new (Sentra) brackets for the supporting crossmember it won't work. I plan on doing this in a couple months but for right now it's too big of a headache.

I'm going to take pictures and point out the differences hopefully this weekend and I'll post them to my site.

Okay, okay. The grill will work if you don't mind zip ties on each side about 1 inch. Personally I am trying to make it look OEM and zip ties just aren't my style.
