Has anyone been able to find a tap wrench big enough to fit the 1/2" tap needed for the oil return in the block? I have the tap but can't seem to find the wrench anywhere that will fit. What alternatives have you guys used?

I just used a ratchet with a big enough socket to fit over the end of the tap. It was kinda difficult to get it started straight, but after that it was a breeze.

you dont need to go that big on the oil drain...3/8 NPT is big enough....
but for that 1/2 tap youll need a tap wrench like this one...

as long as you get it started straight you can even use an open end wrench to run it through.

I was also thinking of using a 1/2" to 3/8" socket adaptor like this

and using the 3/8 side with the tap wrench.

I used a crescent wrench, but you have to be VERY careful to start it straight.
