Hey guys, I have a 98 Sentra 2.0 with a miss under load (low engine speed, high gear).

I am thinking this is a common problem, as I have expierienced with several 4 cylinder nissans. Is there a simple fix? Thanks.

have you tried doin' a search on the forum? personally i've not experienced a miss on either of my sentras. could it be the ignition system?

Is the car stock?
Have you replaced the distributor cap and rotor recently? Wires, plugs? If so, did you use OEM parts?

When my 240SX did this, it was due to having autolite platinums installed. Putting back in the OEM plugs fixed them problem.

A later high speed/RPM hesitation was due to plug wires.

Nissans are finnicky about their ignition components.
Check/clean/regap the plugs, use OEM parts if you replace anything.
