I just had my se-r dynoed again after installing C2s and a 100 shot. I had the C2s set at +2 intake/-4exhaust. I did 3 pulls, the 1st with the cutout closed, 2nd with cutout open, 3rd with n2o. The car made 144whp/125wtq with the cutout closed, with the cutout open it made 149whp/127wtq. The biggest gain was made at 4000rpm which was 11wtq, followed by 9wtq at 2500rpm. It seems that a 3in exhaust makes more bottom end power than a smaller one. With n2o bottle pressure was at 900-950psi and AFR was 12.4-12.7 all across.

For comparision here is my dyno with S3s and a 50 shot, all runs were with cutout open. http://www.sr20forum.com/img/data/500/medium/132se-r_dyno_2_small_.JPG
Also here is a dyno of my car with S3s set for -4intake/-4exhaust on the stock ecu. The first run is with the cutout closed and the last 2 are with it open. As you can see even S3s love a 3in exhaust! http://www.sr20forum.com/img/data/500/medium/dynopacksgp1.jpg

Alwasys interesting to see dynos of SR20DEs with large cams.

And always, always surprising to see that a 3" exhaust makes more bottom-end power than a smaller one!!!

Can you post some blowup of those two runs? No NOS, just the 2 N/A runs.

What type of header do you have? And what cutout do you have? Where is it positioned?

I'd have to goto the dyno shop to get that chart. However I did input the values from each pull into a MS excel spreadsheet. So you can email me at nismo87@houston.rr.com if you want the files. The header I have is a hotshot gen VI, the cutout is a basic 3in one from summit racing. It is located right before the passenger rear wheel, about 1ft before the muffler (2k maxima).

I would like to see a S3 vs C2 chart.
