That sounds good for normal SR16 cams!!
What else is done to your motor? What valve springs etc are you using and ECU?
How high does it rev?
My setup is:
SR16VE
SR20DE crank and rods
SR16VE pistons
Cometic 1.5mm headgasket
SR16 N1 Intake manifold and TB
Hotshot gen 6 with 3" exhaust
Microtech EMS
Nismo cam gears
No AC, PS and WP
UR crank pullie
Fidanza FW
Thats basically it...

Nice numbers, just wondering why you went with a 1.5 mm gasket though. Were you trying to reduce compression a bit?
No AC, PS and WP
hmm, no water pump.... i guess electric water pump? if so, it's still a water pump

if you want more top end power, then retard both of them together, if you start to loose power up top, then you will need more cylinder pressure, I.E. a thinner headgasket.... but with the sr16ve pistons in a 2.0L, i think you should be ok.

Let me see if I understand you correctly.
you're saying adjusting from +5 & -5 to say +2 & -8 (for example) will give more top end HP?

Thats it what JWT use on one car and everyone jumped and put that setting on their cars  .That is incorrect.Every car is different Even if you build same setup twice no two are alike.I have seen 3 ve dyno In CT and have different settings .The best setting for sr16 cams in you car can not be answered till you dyno tune them.Goodluck MY setting is 0 and -1 now.
