what would be a really good drag set-up? I have a good idea on how to make power but getting it to the ground is another story.

I dont care what you have for a suspension, get traction bars that control the flexing of the control arms. That will solve many problems. We pulled a 1.6 60ft on tokico blues and ground controls (350/250).

Who makes them for se-r's?? Or is it all custom fab work as of now??

Hass makes them.

Don't forget some slicks, or at least BFG G-force DRs. I hit a 2.0 60' without traction bars on my lagmaster setup and BFG drag radials.

Slicks + AGX's = 1.7's for me. If you get traction bars, you SHOULD be pulling atleast 1.69's or better.

Old school used to be to run 600lb springs in the back. Seems a bit extreem to me.

I know I'm going to need a decent size slicks. Now what kind of springs do you suggest on top of the agx?

I have tein s-techs, the car sits lower in the front to help with wieght transfer, but the ride on the street sucks. I would find a good set of ground controls and some heaver springs for the back

I ran just the 300/200 Hyperco's and had good results with them, 1.9's on BFGs. Turn the AGXs to full stiff in the rear when you get to the strip.

Low rolling resistance tires in the rear also helps, as well as airing the tires up (I usually go 2-3psi over their maximum rating) to make them roll easier.

The 600lb springs make it so the rear doesn't squat and more of the force goes to moving forward. IT is a proven method, pretty sure that Jaime Farrer ran those on the 9 second sentra. Those traction bars are proven to work and a nice set of slicks, biggest you can fit. I recommend putting the stock wheels on the back (or a 13"/14" steelie or donut) as they have a thin track and roll easy.

Darrin, I started a good thread on this a while back, Mike K had some good info in there.
