Hey guys names Ric from Australia got a N15(FWD)SSS with a SR20det conversion(GTIR).

seems like you guys got a way more oad of information on here and looks good keep it up.....

having a major problem at the moment with the clutch...ive been reading about a maxima gearbox that fits with the sr20det.. can anyone shed anymore light on this?

as to what model car or engine they come out of and if they do infact fit into a front wheel drive sr20det.ive read the 50A n 50V series? theyre off a VG or VQ 20/30det arent they ??? im loking at running about 350-400hp through it just need a box that can hold up...

What's wrong with your clutch??? what's wrong with your actuall trany?? is it breaking gears??? is it burning clutch disc's???

yes the clutch is slipping because ive only still got a small clutch(same size as a SSS but its heavy duty) and the gearbox is still the standard SSS box and it wont hold up to the 350-400hp i want to run through it...just seem to be having a hard time getting info and anything or any gearbox that will fit a FWD and hold the 350-400hp....ive located a 3litre v6 twin trubo maxima gearbox but i dont have anything to confirm it would fit onto the sr...would i need to make a adapting plate for both bellhousings?
or that box wont fit? is there anything in the states that suits FWD SSS for turbo applications?
