All the guys out there with the DET. How streetable is your car?How much WHP are you making? How fast are you guys running?

I don't think anyone here is making ANY RWHP(Rear Wheel HorsePower) unless they've got an S13 or S14 w/ a DET.

I had a stock Bluebird DET in my NX2000. Stock boost at 6.5 psi. It made 194 HP at the wheels (and 188 lb-ft of torque). My best time on street tires was a 13.8 @ 101 MPH, with a badly slipping clutch and a 2.4 60' time. The only other real (power) mods I had were a full 3" exhaust system and a JWT ECU programmed for the DET. The NX drove like a stock NX2000... if a stock NX made about 215 HP. :) It was louder than stock because of the 3" exhaust system, but it drove like it was stock.

When not in the boost it felt exactly like a stock NX2000. Get into the throttle and it's suddenly a Mustang-eating rocket. Sort of a Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde sort of thing. But it always felt like a factory stock motor... because it was a factory stock motor. I liked it a lot.

Yeah, what Zak said. I'm running a t25 on my DE, basically no lag, power comes on nice and controllable (well, it'll roast 1st gear like nothing and 2nd will spin some up top). I also have JWT S3 cams which I think is helping a lot up top. Still running a 60mm (2.36") Greddy exhaust though and I know my cat is fried (and therefore, probably clogged), so I'm down a few ponies. Haven't turned up the boost yet either (want to get a bigger fuel pump before I do that). I'm guessing right now that I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 200whp and a high 13 sec. run on street tires. I did pull a stock looking wrx pretty hard in 2nd gear today :) With a 3" exhaust, new cat, and boost up to 10psi, maybe 230-240whp and a mid 13 on street tires?

If you want a fairly linear power curve I'd guess that a t28 is about how big you'd want to go. So like 280 whp or so?

Then there are the guys who are making 400+ hp. How do you like 80 mph burnouts? The hp jumps up like 250 hp in a 1k rpm range though once that bad boy monster turbo spools. If all you're doing is going straight line, not a prob. I guess. I dunno, I don't have any experience with a monster HP SE-R. There are a few guys who have road raced these things so they would better be able to answer you question.
