Alright i will be getting my gt2835 new which has dual ballbearing upgrade . I was looking at this specific turbo and the compressor is HUGE(t04b). I am aware that this turbo is a direct replacement for a pulsar. The size of the compressor ,even if its rotated to clear the block with the pulsar manifold , "looks" like the stock wastegate wont clear. Anybody have any knowled of this issue?
t-28 for sale soon less than year old.

Thanks Lawrence

Well, you could hook up an external wastegate? Just wondering.... how much did that turbo costs anywayz?

yah iam aware of hooking an external wastegate. Only that goes beyond of what i wanted . "Bolt-ON' with minor fabbing. So if anyone knows if stock wastegate will clear let me know.

Thanks Lawrence

who makes that turbo, how much, and where did you get it? also if it is a direct replacement there shouldn't be any fitment problems.

First of all a GT2835R has a TO4E compresser. It will not fit on the Pulsar GTIR Manifold. Yes it will bolt on they both have T25 turbine flanges but the GT2835R has a 4 in compresser inlet that will not clear the block. That turbo is a great workin turbo but is the worst fitment on a GTIR manifold you will ever find. Yes you can put a Internal wastegate on there I have put one on a GT2540R. The GT2835R has the same size as the GT2540R but the comp inlet is way bigger on the GT2835R thats where your problems will be. Will show a pic of a GT2540R on a SR20DET soon.

yah the R has the larger compressor inlet. mine is not the R it is just gt2835. This is chose because it would be better for all a round driving . the inlet on this compressor is looked to be about 2.25-2.5. So you think it will still fit?
