Stock of course......

I was going down to Myrtle Beach with my friends. Through North Carolina, I wanted to see what the car would top out at. Pushed it all the way, the ECU only allowed 115/116mph, then it just cut the fuel supply and dropped off.

Looks like once I get my Jim Wolf ECU upgrade I'm going to have to take another trip down south...... :cool:

Anybody else try this?

Uhhh, I have never gone anything more than the speed limit :D . I hear that the car suts off at an indicated 115 mph, which is actually 109mph. The extra 6mph is speedo error.

Yeah before I got my JWT ECU I was hitting the speed limiter in 4th gear. Fastest I've had it to since was a jaunt to 140. What's the fastest anyone has gotten up to? Dre mentioned to me a long time ago about a 16? top speed on our cars?

to get to 16x... I think you'd need an increased redline... like around 8000rpm.

Approx. 155mph - Approx. 7300rpm in 5th. The Porsche 911 lost!

150mph in my 98 SE...hotshot header, hotshot cold air intake, jwt s4 cams, g20 ecu, cat-back exhaust, UR pulleys.

Approx. 144 with pop charger and s4 cams. On my way to work at 5:30 in the morining.
