Going into Turn 1 after my infamous pass (two wheels in the dirt going by start/finish) in the 2nd practice start. :D That's Gordon behind the Z car.

Hey slowSER,
Nice pics... Man, panasports look good on a classic SER.
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe that Pinto is actually a Mercury Bobcat...or at least the grill is from a Bobcat.
best

<shrug> No idea for sure. But the car runs in the "GT Pinto" class, so they probably allow Bobcats. The class is unique to the D.C. Region, I think, and is fairly popular. :)

I passed the NASCAR-looking thing on the 1st start, and he never got past me until the practice race. The DuPont Motorsports BMW (as seen on SpeedVision ;)) was driven by one of the guys who crewed for them last year. He passed me, too, during the practice race, but I actually nipped at his heels the entire time. Him and an A Sedan Camaro. Full blown racecars couldn't escape the mighty SR20DE, y0!
DuPont Motorsports had another crew guy there driving the car Neal Sapp raced last year. Both of them had never been on a road course, though. During the classroom sessions after each time on track, the instructors usually singled one or both of them out for doing something not-so-smart. Meanwhile, Gordon or I always received positive comments.

I want Panasports :( (sniff)
Very nice Mr. Pat. Need to bring it to a non-race event so we can play.
