Just wondering....I have a front pair, but not sure how to tell if they are good or not while off the car. They provide ample resistance while both pushing and pulling.

make sure there not leaking anything and you can't push them down easily other than that they should be good....:)

When you push them down, they should rebound smoothly and all the way back to the original position. It should not take forever to get back up.

Very cool. Thanks for the help guys. I guess I lucked out and have some extra primo struts!!!

The struts I took off my new SE-R, 3 of the 4 would take forever to uncompress. Like, push rod down, go inside, pour a Coke, come outside and then they were uncompressed. I think one still hasn't come up. ;)
