It has been about a month since i have gotten to drive my car and last night it was finally running. Got the es motor mounts in and the jwt technology clutch. Also the mounts make the car a little buzzy, especially on start up, but I like the way they make the engine feel like a part of the car. I do have one question. Has anyone else noticed so much play in the release lever? Why does the throw out bearing have to travel soo far to reach the pressure plate? The clutch engages right when I release the pedal. This has been really bugging me and I would really appreciate feedback by anyone with the jwt setup.

I have a 95

(And yes I did check the archives, but found very little)

i have a JWT clutch also. you mean to say that the clutch doesn't grab when you begin to pull back a little bit? i start to let up about 2 inches and it grabs.

I've got the Jim Wolf clutch and 12.5lb flywheel. They have been installed for about 3,000 miles now. It takes a good 500 miles to break a clutch in. When I first drove my car after the install it felt all out of place. Soon as you get some good milage racked up, it should come together. The clutch feels perfect now. Plus during the install they had to do something special to get the lever and cable hooked together perfect. Jim Wolf said most installs that was necessary if the car had been "hot rodded" before.

p.s. take it easy for those first 500 miles
