OK yesterday we sorted out the little misfire, due to too big a spark plug gap.

We were up at STAR performance today to see what power & torque she would make.

Unfortunately, the car kept on jumping out of the rollers.

Even with 6 people on the car to keep it in the rollers, we couldn't keep it in place.

On our final attempt, the engine was making...

329.5 BHP @ 5830 rpm

&

297 lbft @ 5830 rpm...

This was as far as the controller could take it as it kept jumping out the rollers.

Both figures were still climbing high until this point, but unfortunately we were unable to get a true figure of it's max power & torque...

That car is just such a beast. Must be scary thinking of a car that jumps off the rollers. Numbers look great!

We got the Micra for a while here in Canada, although it never came to the States. You still see them floating around sometimes, and a friend of mine had one at university.

Nissan is brining possibly a new car in the line. Nissan VERSA , Nissan Cube looks like a MICRA i believe iwas reading it in Wheels because of the gas prices actually alot of the japanese automakers are.

Nice vid! I agree you guys are a bit crazy sitting on the car like that. Once I was standing on a roller adjusting the fuel pressure and the operator started rolling.
