: Body Kits
tg200ser 02-23-2002, 02:53 PM I am thinking about putting a body kit on my car this summer, but i have some questions.
First of all about how much does it cost for a paint shop to paint it??
Are they hard to install yourself, and do they all fit without doing other mods?
Here in missouri we have to have plates on front and back, but from pics ive seen a lot of the kits dont really have a place for them. Will i have to just drill holes in the new bumper?
Also if anybody has pics of your car with a body kit on it send it to me or post it on here... I'd like to see them.
Yes-Ser 02-23-2002, 03:52 PM You can check out my site in my sig. There are several pics of where I put my Missouri license plate! All I have is the Stillen GTR front fascia, which I don't think is sold anymore. But there are places you can put the front plate, if you get creative.

metro_se-r 02-24-2002, 02:21 AM After I put in performance and lighting, I'm going to buy and install a Sensei Series II front fascia. That is the piece of aerodynamics I want. There are other kits that are nice, but that one stands out the most in my eyes.
As for the Stillen GTR, it is still listed on the Stillen website, but its quite expensive compared to other kits out there.
BTW, I also want to know how much painting would cost, anyone?

Se-Racer do you have the Vader style or what??
I bought a skyline style front from some place, can't remember right now, but it was crap!!! It was thin and would have needed to be shortened by about an inch...
There are a couple people on this board that have the new stillen front bumper which is pretty sick, and i'd probably buy it if i bought a new bumper...
Andy's autosport also has a kit, as well as Jt Autostyle(makes a widebody) and also quwhees has a widebody kit...

metro_se-r: i don't have any recent pics... I've been fighting with my paint guy to get the front back for like months now... he keeps saying "it'll be next week" like every week... I might have one from when my car was copper, but i'm not sure...
tg200ser 03-01-2002, 07:32 PM thinking of this one from importfan.com... it says for sentra, but it will fit 200sx wont it?? Does anyone know the quality of importfan.com's kits?? This is their extreme kit. Also i'm still looking for an estimate on painting a bumper black.

but any kit that says it fits the 95-99 sentra will also fit the 200sx and vice versa
Any front and rear from a Sentra will fit a 200sx. The sideskirts are different.

madburner 03-06-2002, 02:56 PM I was looking at getting the Stillen front spoiler/lip for the 95-97 model. Only problem is that I have a 98 se-r. Has anyone tried this lip on a 98? Do you think it will fit well? What is the difference between the 95-97 front spoiler and the 98?

What front bumper is that? I think it looks good but it is a bit hard for me to see the details of it because of it's so damn dark.
sage3 03-13-2002, 06:58 PM Hey madburner, the lip won't fit our car. Our front bumper is total different then the other years. Do what I did just by a kit.:)
