THe ECU is under the middle of the console by the heater vents. Are you sure you have the ICM plugged in right?

I bet ya have the fuel lines on backwards. Most of us have done it before. Do you have the dist, coil, and chip pluged in right?

im not sure how backwards fuel lines will keep me from getting spark or the fuel pump turning on...
if you look at my other post where i asked where some wires went, they were by some grounds original from the japanese motor, one had 8 volts with the key on, the other had .01 volts with the key on. believe it or not, grounding both of these wires has solved my problem. mostly....
the car starts right up, no problem. it will idle for about 5 seconds, then the idle deteorates until it just chugs and shuts off.
i dont have the o2 in the exhaust pipe yet, (using the jdm manifold), and i didnt have the one temp sender plugged in, but i think it was just the one for the guage.
anyway ill do what i think needs done and see how the car runs after that, if i still have problems........ i suppose ill have to figure them out on my own like this one.
i guess theres always sifting through a thousand posts telling people to search....

Did you take the harness out of the car? Did you check fuses yet?

Dude... that is a sign of reversed fuel lines if the car is starting up and then dying... Its using up the fuel left in the lines... Dont ask me how I know... :D
It can't hurt to switch the fuel lines around to rule that out...
