I've swapped over my accesories and timing chain cover to the DET today. Everything fit! I had the choice to use the DE or DET oil sending unit...After checking it out, I went with my DE unit...simply b/c it will be easier to change oil filters. I've also figured out the idle motor problem. I have to cut the factory connectors off and wire in some quick connects.. It's not that bad after all. I'm also looking at building a custom sheetmetal intake manifold...similar to to the one here..www.02induction.com ...David turned me on to this one yesterday...and I can't pass those gains up!! 40hp with an intake!?! Everything bolts up though...All the sensors, the AC compressor, altenator, power steering...even the water pump! The Crank pully from my DE fit as well. I have to fabricate a 90 degree water neck for the back of the head..b/c my DE one wouldn't clear the intake runners on the DET.. And I didn't get one with the DET motor.. No bigee though.
