that sounds like a MAF issue. Have you regrounded your MAF?

might want to check that you have a good O2 sensor.

Well, i took it through again and it failed again, but its jsut my carbon levels, its about double the legal amount in Washington!

i jsut retimed it and it went down, 145 points, so im gonna bring it down some more, and then throw a bottle of emisions pass crap in there!

ill check and see if i can reground the MAF

shit my nx wouldnt pass emissions. just got it inspected today though. 125 dollars and it was out the door ; ). why not ask around to see who has the hook up.

125? Damn that's expensive. I paid 80 for my sticker, and I didn't even go to the place. Gave the kid the cash in school and had a sticker with a printout of my car did the next day;) Try running dry gas

i checked an cleaned my temp sensors, my emissions went down alot, its jsut about 200 more points, then im FREE!

Tricks? Why don't you just get all the emissions equipment working properly? You know, EGR, cat, no vac leaks, etc etc. It should pass without any "tricks". Search "EGR" or "emissions". There's a ton of info on the topic.

its a fresh swap , with less than a thousand miles on it after it was done, it just runs rich!

u must have some strict emissions, i passed in ct with a huuuuge vacuum leak. i have a gti-r in my b13 so 0 emissions with a 3 inch exhaust and i only had 132 hydro carbons out of the alowed 150

IT PASSES, but then i low-erd my car, and put wheels on it, and it feels like shit, and it seems i fucked something else up now, idk!

anyways, i put my timing at 5 degrees, and then i ran it through and I got 40 hydro carbons, a third of the legal amount, so i was happy! and now im legal!
