Anybody know of a DOT/SAE approved HID lighting kit? Is the Philips HID kit DOT? I'm looking for an aftermarket (not taken from another car) HID kit that has DOT or SAE approval. TIA :D

i didn't know DOT approved HID kits existed. from what i heard a little while ago, only HID kits with auto leveling systems can be approved. don't know if that's true anymore.

Hmmm...That's what I'm trying to find out too. Apparently the self levelling system isn't an issue though, as S2000's do not have a self levelling system (according to our resident police officer on another site). In my city, any aftermarket HID kit is legal if it has either DOT or SAE approval on every major component. This kit probably doesn't even exist, but you never know....
