I have had quite a few people inquire about things for sale, make it seem as if they are interested and then do not follow up. If you are not sure, please say not sure. I have things I need to move out the way and I delay selling because of a "promise".
Also, if I say once the price is what it is, please do not PM me with a ridiculous lowball number when we already discussed price.
I have things set aside that I need to get out of my apartment, packed and got shipping prices only to not have the other party follow up. Thats really annoying...

At least say not interested, something came up, I don't want to ship it, something any kind of reply would be great instead of leaving someone in Limbo.


I know it takes some on here a while to get back to you, hell my work schedule makes it hard for me as well, but I will at least let you know something as soon as possible.

I have a stack of boxes by my front door ready to go and I have to wait on these people to give me an answer.... AFTER they told me that they WANTED it and to hold it for them.....

I had a guy a month ago that wanted a part. Boxed it up and waited for the payment.... waited.... emailed... waited.... emailed... (return receipt) still has not responded.

OMG, I was thinking about this on the way to work. I mean inquire if you want to know more and have cash, but don’t string it out with a bunch of questions then just disappear.

Look at all the posts in my threads about motors for VEs (http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=134452) and DETs (http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=134542). I have yet to sell a motor to one of these "SERIOUS BUYERS".

The only one I sold was to bangin-gmc through a simple and direct PM. Neither of us BS'd each other and the deal happened very fast - like it should.

I think I'll just start selling quotes because that's all that people seem to care about. Even with 70% off, people still "need to think about it".
