Isnt there a sencor on the tranny bellhousing? Correct me if im wrong but I know thats how it is on many other cars Ive worked on.

ok, this thing wont start, the injectors or pulsating, its getting fuel, and spark....why wont it fire?

the engine in a 91 stanza is a ka24dsohc if i remember correctly all of the pick ups are in the distributor. it has a optical sensor type. it has a reluctor wheel with 360 small slots and 4 larger slots for cylinder identification. check for spark using a spark tester. if you have spark test for injector pulse using a noid light or test light. if you have all of that check for fuel pressure.

did all that.... i check injector pulse, ground side is flashing and positive is lit constant....took the line off the fuel filter, turned the key, got gas and removed a spark plug and it was sparking, kinda orange but it sparked, i pulled the car in my garage 2 days ago, ran mint and never had any previous problems, i swapped the tranny yesterday and today....so wierd.....so maybe its not getting timed spark???only plugs i messed with ones on the tranny, starter wires, battery terminals, thats it.. i had to swap all the sensors over *** the junkyard clipped the plugs on the new one.... there was some sensors on the tranny.......

1) electric speedo sensor
2)neautral saftey switch
3)a 3 wire sensor that looks like a abs speed sensor that goes into the bottom drivers side of the tranny
4)like a 7 wire yellow plug that goes into the tranny, probably for all the cpu shit and overdrive

fucking piece of shit, i gave it back to the guy and said i dont want any money, i just dont want to be bothered with this thing, me and my friend troubleshooted it for 5 hours and couldnt figure out why it wont run ugh! i just ate 200 bux
