: I hacked up a Greddy exhaust

I am going for the Super Sleeper theme with my SR20VE by trying to make the car as stealthy as possible. One of the things I have done is cut off the humongous 5" resonated tip on my Greddy exhaust and had a standard 2.5" tip welded on. These pics are after the new tip but before the whole thing gets Jet Hot coated.

I'm trying to keep the car as undercover as possible to avoid police attention and to suprise Honda owners.

NOOOOOO, you killed my exhaust. You need to send me the tip like a ransom note. IF YOU WANT THE REST THEN PUT 500.00 DOLLARS IN THE GARBAGE CAN AT 3:00 PM. OR THE REST GETS IT!!!!!

That's my old engine. I sent the entire engine; block, head, transmission and everything else to Magmasters in Santa Ana, CA and they polished the whole thing. There is actually a picture of the block on Magmasters website.

I sold it Ralfy in 99. He already had a black 200SX.

That's what I am talking about, coat that pig black and you'll be rolling. I have the A'PEXi N1 watermelon super shooter, once the turbo goes on I can't WAIT to ditch this thing!

How much did that place charge to polish your engine/head/tranny; what is the Magmasters web-site?

Looks good, are you going to get the whole muffler jet hot coated a different color? black perhaps? :D

Super sleeper is where its at, I trying to keep the sleeper look as well, but I dont think I can cut my muffler tip...at least not yet :D

I'm going to either get the whole thing Jet Hot Coated black or silver. I'm leaning towards the silver because I prefer the color and once it gets a little dirty it should look stock.

Yes, I am coating the stainless steel muffler too!!

Any votes - silver or black ??

The website is www.magmasters.com. If you select the "polishing prices" link you will see a picture of my SR20DE block.

The prices are insanely cheap. Here are some price quotes directly from my old receipt:

Engine head: $85
Transmission part1: $65
Transmission part2: $55
Transmission end cover: $10
Oil Filter "arm": $20
Alternator: $35
Thermostat housings: $15
Motor Mounts: $15

I don't have the breakdown on each part but the other shipment which included 8 parts including the block, valve cover, MAF, throttle body, intake manifold, CAI, and a couple other parts I don't remember totaled $360.

That's a total of $660!!! That's all!!

You've got cojones man. I was almost crying because I had to drill my HKS to put in an O2 sensor fitting and you just hacked the friggin' tip right off...I'm almost crying.

Anyways, I say go black. More unsuspecting.
