Well, I am forced into doing something I really never thought I would be doing: I’m selling my baby. This car has countless hours of blood sweat and tears into it. I spent about three years saving money and building the car, and than enjoyed it at its fullest potential for a year.
I first decided to build the car because the stock motor went. At that time, I made the mistake of putting another NA motor into it, I realized that swapping a basically bolt in turbo motor wasn’t such a stretch from what I’d already done. From that moment on, I knew the car would eventually be turbocharged, and with lots of time and work it finally was.
I loved my SR, and I loved the work of making it a turbo car, but what I have is a high performance car and everything that goes with it. Between work and school, I only have time for a car on the simplest of terms, which means that I can only keep my much newer daily driver. Unfortunately, that means parting with my old friend.
